Installing Process Commander includes 10 steps organized into three phases:
1. Preparation Phase
You complete the Preparation Phase following the procedures in this guide.

Make sure that your environment meets the requirements for PRPC 6.1 SP2 in terms of:
Hardware, OS, JVM, JDBC Driver, Application Server, Database Server, PRPC, and their
respective settings.
1. Review the current Platform Support Guide, which is available on the
Pega Developer Network (PDN) or from your Pega account executive.
This document lists the recommended software components needed to
support Process Commander, and any special requirements or known
issues with particular vendors or versions.
2. Review your site’s deployment requirements with your IT
representatives.
3. Consult with your Pegasystems representative about your installation
plans. Pegasystems’ prior experience with various platforms and
deployment architectures can help your installation go smoothly.
